9-1-1 Shift Manager – Tazewell County Consolidated Communications (TC3)
The position of 9-1-1 Shift Manager is responsible for TC3 operation at both the Morton and Pekin PSAP sites. This responsibility includes overall management and supervision of Telecommunicators assigned to the particular shift. Personnel responsibilities include scheduling, observation, discipline and mentoring. Management responsibilities include quality assurance, monitoring the performance of PSAP system performance and assumption of command during major incidents.
It is expected that the 9-1-1 Shift Manager will periodically travel between the PSAPs and be available on-call if required. Senior Telecommunicator staff will be assigned Lead duties to assist the 9-1-1 Shift Manager in daily operation.
